Trained as an Electrical, Electronics and Communications engineer, David then graduated from HEC Business School and specialized in Entrepreneurship.
Willing to develop a strong set of skills before creating his company, he worked for 9 years at Schneider Electric France in different Management positions: – sales, HR, Business and Asset Management.
For more than a decade, in order to adapt to various situations, he experienced different statuses and situations – for example, as a Country Director for Areva integration or France Sales and Marketing Director for the Energy Management Services Business Unit (with a focus on electrical asset management).
The latter strongly marked him: “Although every field was stimulating, I have, for now, never found one as interesting as Asset Management. It offers a multitude of possibilities for Businesses.”
As luck would have it, he had a very interesting discussion with the future co-founder of CBien about a project aimed at inventorying personal belongings and decided to launch CBien, not just as an “inventory platform” but rather as an “asset management platform”.
